Now members have a new way to get answers to their health coverage questions. Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey’s secure online Chat tool easily connects the member to a Member Services Representative who can help answer questions about enrollment, benefits, claims and more.
How it works
With Chat, our members can get answers to their health coverage questions immediately.
To access Chat, members:
• Sign in to Member Online Services at HorizonBlue.com/members.
• Click Chat from the top of the screen.
• Select a category from the Contact Reason drop down menu.
Once connected to a Member Services Representative, members will get personalized answers to
their Horizon BCBSNJ questions.

Horizon BCBSNJ also offers two other online options for members to get information about their
• Member FAQs – Read answers and get step-by-step instructions on how to access
information through Member Online Services.
• Send a secure email and get a response within two business days. Members must sign in
to Member Online Services to send questions and retrieve the answers from Message
